وقال أبو عبيدة في خطاب مسجل: "تهديد غزة وأهلها لعبة خاسرة وأسطوانة مشروخة، وبأي جيش تهددنا بالذي تساقط أمامنا وفروا بالمئات تاركين أسلحتهم ودباباتهم أمام مقاومينا".
